Changing or cancelling an appointment:
You may reschedule or cancel an appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before the consultation. In the evenings and at weekends, you can leave a message on the voicemail, send a WhatsApp message or an email. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of the consultation, or fail to attend the appointment without a valid reason, you will be charged for the consultation.
Payment after the consultation:
Unlike what you may be used to with your therapist or GP, you will be asked to pay the bill immediately after the consultation, either by debit card or in cash. After the treatment, you will receive an invoice by email which you can submit to your health insurer.
Reimbursement for osteopathy is covered by supplementary insurance for alternative therapies. If this is included in your policy, (part of) the treatment will be reimbursed, provided the osteopath is registered with the NRO or NOF. Osteopathy van der Aar is a member of the Dutch Association for Osteopathy (NVO) and is registered in the quality register of the Dutch Register of Osteopathy (NRO).
